Now that I had Parker on the team, I could get down to managing the business. Technical details about the acquisition had been planned with the team. Now we needed to get details about the inside of the yacht and the motives driving the ex-wife, Katherine Gray.

Sarah made the introductions. "Katherine, I would like to introduce you to my parents, Case and JJ Barrett, and one of our associates, Parker Blakely."

"The pleasure is ours," Case responded. "Let's go to our conference room and get started, shall we?"

"Katherine, Sarah requested that we meet with you is because you appear to have had a relationship with a Mr. Huntington Truesdale, is that correct?"

"Yes, it is, JJ. Mr. Truesdale was my husband. We divorced three years ago, but what is this all about? Sarah told me it was something about asset recovery."

"Our company recovers luxury items from people who are excessively delinquent on their payments. Yachts, private jets and really fast cars, mostly."

"So, you're going after the yacht?"

"Yes."

"What does that have to do with me? I have nothing to do whatsoever with that unfaithful pig. He can rot in hell as far as I'm concerned."

Case jumped into the conversation, "Mrs. Gray, during our background investigation we found significant financial assets under various aliases that track back to your ex-husband. You may be entitled to a share of those assets. You see, he is under investigation for money laundering and tax evasion, among other infractions."

"Holy shit. He's a criminal?"

"We think so. Let me make this clear, Mrs. Gray, we are not in any way a part of the criminal investigative process. We work for banks, insurance companies and private citizens. Huntington Truesdale is in big trouble and we have to move fast before all of his assets, legitimate or otherwise, are seized."

"I'm sorry if I'm being rude, but what the hell does that have to do with me? Just call my lawyer and let her handle it."

"The proposition is twofold," I said. "We think you are entitled to his legitimate holdings and we would like to offer our services to get them for you."

"I am in no need of money, but just out of curiosity, what are we talking about?"

"I'm talking about revenge. Sarah has traced funds in seventeen accounts from here in Miami-Dade all the way to Zurich."

"I've found over $138 million so far, Katherine," Sarah added. "We know there is more, although I haven't been able to locate it yet."

Mrs. Gray looked as if she had seen a ghost. She shook her head and said to no one in particular, "$138 million, my God. Tell me what you want me to do."

"There is some paperwork to take care of. We work on a 25 percent recovery bonus, expenses included. We also need your help by describing the contents and layout of the yacht."

"I'll sign any contract you want. I don't care about the money. Just destroying him will be all the compensation I need."
